Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a New Vehicle Sales Representative at our VW dealership in Germiston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our inventory of new vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
– Promote and sell new vehicles to customers in alignment with their needs and budget
– Conduct test drives and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our vehicles
– Maintain a strong knowledge of our product line, pricing, and available inventory
– Follow up with leads and prospects to encourage sales and build relationships
– Handle sales negotiations and close deals to meet sales targets
– Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
– Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the dealership
– Keep up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform sales strategies
– Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in automotive sales or a similar field
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Excellent customer service and negotiation abilities
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
– Knowledge of automotive industry trends, products, and services
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
– Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Education and Experience:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous sales experience in automotive industry preferred
– Training or certification in automotive sales a plus

Working Conditions:
– This position requires standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods
– Work schedule may include evenings and weekends
