Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join our automotive team at Hyundai Germiston. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks within our service department, specializing in the maintenance and repair of vehicles. This position offers the opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable company in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:
– Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
– Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
– Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
– Keep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
– Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance recommendations
– Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the service department
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology
– Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Technician in the automotive industry
– Certification from a recognized technical school or automotive training program
– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
– Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of vehicle systems and components
– Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
– Willingness to continually learn and improve technical skills
