We’re all about keeping things legit. To make sure JobGround stays a safe space for our community, our team personally checks every listing. This helps us spot any scammers, pyramid schemes, or “pay-to-work” dodgie-ness before they reach our job seekers. It’s all about quality over quantity so you get the best candidates possible.
We get your job live fast! If you’re posting during normal business hours (08:00 – 17:00), we usually have it approved and live faster than a Braai-master flips a boerie. If you’re burning the midnight oil and posting after hours, we’ll make it a priority first thing the next morning. Keep an eye on your inbox for that “Live” notification!
Short answer: No nonsense allowed. We’ll reject any listings for fake jobs, multi-level marketing (MLM), or anything that asks candidates for an upfront “investment” or fee. We also have a zero-tolerance policy for any discriminatory language. Basically, if it’s not a genuine, professional employment opportunity, it’s not for us. Sure, you can! Just head over to your Employer Dashboard to make your changes. Once you’ve updated it, we’ll give it a quick “once-over” to make sure everything still looks good and meets our quality standards. It’ll be back live faster than a taxi in the emergency lane.
It’s as easy as a Sunday braai. Once you’ve registered and verified your email, hit the ‘Post a New Job’ tab in your Dashboard. Fill in the details, agree to the T&Cs (the usual legal stuff), and click ‘Post Job’. You’ll then pick your package and settle up. Top Tip: You can also buy a package first from our pricing page, then just select it when you’re ready to post. Easy-peasy.
Because our service kicks in the second your job goes live to the public, we don’t generally do refunds once a listing is published. If you’ve bought a package but change your mind before the job actually goes live, give us a shout and we can talk. Check our Terms and Conditions for the full lowdown.
Want to stand out from the crowd? When you’re posting your job, just make sure to select a package that includes Featured Credits. Once you hit “Post Job’ and select your package to use for the post, a dropdown will ask if you want to make the listing featured. Just click ‘Yes’! It’s the best way to get your ad right in front of the best candidates.
Already posted but want more eyes on it? Go to ‘Manage Jobs’ and click that Star Icon. You’ll be whisked away to the payments page to use one of your featured credits. Just a heads-up: This uses an extra credit from your package, so it’s always cheaper and easier to make it featured right when you first post it!
Hitting “Repeat”? Go to ‘Manage Jobs’, hover over the File Icon, and click it to clone the listing. It’ll sit in ‘Pending’ until you hit the Pencil Icon to edit or update it. Pick your package, hit ‘Select Package’, and you’re back in business.
No more “call me back” games. In your dashboard, go to ‘Meetings’ > ‘Meeting Settings’ and tick the boxes for when you’re actually free. Then, go to ‘All Applicants’, hit the ‘Actions’ dropdown next to their name, and click ‘Create Meeting’. Pick the slot, add a nice message, and we’ll send them the invite automatically. Job done!

It’s as easy as a Sunday afternoon. First, make sure your profile and CV are sorted in your Dashboard. When you find a job you like: Click the job title. Hit the ‘Apply Now’ button. Pick which Cover Letter and CV you want to use. Pro Tip: To keep things looking sharp, upload your Cover Letter to ‘My CV’ in your Dashboard instead of typing it into the box. This keeps your formatting perfect when it reaches the employer!
For sure! If you’re on the move and find a job you like, just hit the Heart Icon. It’ll save it to your dashboard immediately so you can find it later when you’re ready to sit down and apply.
We vet every post, but you should still keep your wits about you. Watch out for “red flags” like people asking for money, bank details, or using generic Gmail addresses. If an offer feels too good to be true, it probably is. If something smells fishy, report it to support@jobground.co.za immediately.
Life happens! If you need to move a meeting, go to your ‘Meetings’ tab, click ‘Actions’, and select ‘Reschedule’. Pick a new time, add a polite message for the employer, and hit send. We’ll handle the email notification for you.
Go to ‘My Profile’ on your Dashboard and complete all the relevant sections. Then go to ‘My CV’ and upload your edited FREE Cover Letter template provided to you on signup. Complete all relevant sections and click ‘Update CV’. Go back to ‘My CV’ and choose one of the FREE premium CV templates available. You can view each CV template, and then click ‘Download PDF’ on the template of your choice. Upload the CV to the ‘CV Manager’ and start applying for job opportunities with your professional documents. Tip – To print and save your CV: Open print settings and set the ‘Page Sizing & Handling’ to Custom Scale – 85%. Then select print for a hard copy or print to PDF. Save it and upload it to the ‘CV Manager’. This small tweak ensures that none of your information is cut off and that the layout stays professional!
