What You’ll Do

As a Virtual Assistant, your responsibilities will vary depending on the client’s needs, but typically include:

  • Administrative Support: Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling email correspondence.

  • Client Coordination: Liaising with customers, managing CRM systems, and follow-ups.

  • Content & Digital Support: Basic social media scheduling (Canva/Meta Business Suite), newsletter formatting, or blog posting.

  • Research & Data: Conducting market research, data entry, and preparing reports or presentations.

  • International Support: For overseas clients, providing high-level English-speaking support during their business hours (often overlapping with SA time).

What We’re Looking For

  • The South African Edge: We want candidates who are proactive, resilient, and possess that famous “can-do” local attitude.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English skills (Additional SA languages are a plus for local roles).

  • Tech Literacy: Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Zoom/Teams, and project management tools like Trello, Asana, or ClickUp.

  • Reliability: You must have a stable internet connection (fiber preferred) and a reliable power backup solution (UPS/Inverter) to stay online during loadshedding.

  • Adaptability: Ability to work across different time zones if assigned to international clients.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, personal assistant, or customer-facing role.

  • A dedicated, quiet home-office environment.

  • A laptop/PC with a working webcam and headset.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently without “micro-management.”
